Engaging Community Health Workers in Evidence-Based Programs  |  Dates:

This webinar series will discuss the role of Community Health Workers in implementing evidence-based programs, help drive referrals, discuss avenues for sustaining and reimbursing CHWs, as well as highlight how CHWs can help organizations reach diverse populations and address social determinants of health factors. For more information and to register, click here.

Narcan Training  |  February 22, 11 a.m.
A simple spray could save a life! Please join Amy Wheat, Opioid Outreach Specialist with Snohomish County Human Services to learn how to administer Narcan (Naloxone), a nasal spray that can block the effects of an opioid overdose. Training is free and open to the community! Mental Health Matters is training individuals to become Peer Mental Health Navigators! During this five-week training you will learn how to: support your community by connecting folks to information and services they may not be aware of, bring awareness and help put an end to harmful stigmas, learn how to help folks through crisis situations, and much more!
