Spread the news about our 1st annual Skagit County Live Love Latch! 2018 event on August 8th. Live Love Latch! is an event to celebrate breastfeeding and to highlight breastfeeding support. Everyone is invited to attend and sign the declaration of support. You do not need to be breastfeeding to be included. The key goal of Live, Love, Latch! is to raise awareness of how a supportive community can help nursing dyads breastfeed successfully.
The August 8th Live Love Latch! Event is coordinated with La Leche League of Skagit County and Community Action of Skagit County WIC Program. Drop in between 11:30am & 1:30pm at the Community Action of Skagit County WIC Program (330 Pacific Place Mount Vernon, WA 98273) for refreshments, face painting, some fun kids’ games, and to be counted towards the national tally of Live, Love, Latch breastfeeding support! Bring your whole family — the more the merrier! Breastfeeding support staff at the WIC office speak English & Spanish.
The group offers free support groups & online help to give encouragement for parents to successful breastfeeding & share in parenting experiences.
