Child Care Business Recruitment & Expansion Manager
Job Summary :
The Child Care Recruitment and Expansion Manager focuses on recruiting prospective local child care providers, expanding existing child care services, and providing small business start-up services to meet the increasing child care demands of a broad spectrum of local families, for-profit companies, and non-profit organizations.
The CCRE Manager utilizes their knowledge of child care operations to conduct outreach and recruiting efforts throughout the Northwest Washington region to identify potential child care providers. This includes conducting targeted focus groups, providing community education and informational workshops, and creating marketing tools across multiple language platforms. The CCRE Manager also performs research to identify current child care availability, demand, and trends in the Northwest Washington region; reviews and analyzes relevant population data and statistics; and produces heat maps and other quantitative and qualitative assessment tools to assist with identifying the most appropriate locations to focus recruiting efforts with the goal of sustaining and increasing the capacity of child care in the region.
In concert with the Child Care Small Business Development Manager, the CCRE Manager also prepares new and expanding providers for operating their child care business as a financially viable small business, including providing one-on-one business coaching and site visits. The CCRE Manager also works with the Child Care Aware NW professional team to develop focused action plans for providers that focus on child care job skills programming, professional training, licensure requirements, and peer support. Additionally, the CCRE Manager works with Early Achievers to provide coaching support to new providers.
As part of a child care advocacy team, the CCRE Specialist informs policy makers and funders of regional trends and provides suggestions of potential actions to make the Northwest Washington region and Washington State a leader in quality child care capacity development.
Salary Range: $25.44 – $31.80
